NFC Toolkit — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026
NFC Toolkit ("the app") lets you read, write and manage NFC tags on your iPhone.
Data stays on your device
- Tags you scan, your scan history and your saved library are stored only on your device. We have no servers and no user accounts, and we never receive this data.
- Data is not sent to us or to anyone else by the app, other than as described under "Advertising" and "Purchases" below.
NFC
The app uses your iPhone's NFC reader only when you tap a scan or write action. Tag contents are processed on the device.
Advertising (free version)
The free version shows optional rewarded video ads that you choose to watch to unlock a Pro feature once. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which may collect and use device identifiers (such as the advertising identifier, if you allow tracking), IP address and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads. You can:
- decline tracking when iOS asks (App Tracking Transparency),
- manage or withdraw consent in the consent form shown by the app where required (for example in the EEA/UK),
- remove ads entirely by purchasing Pro.

Purchases
The one-time Pro purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment information. The app only checks with Apple whether Pro is unlocked.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above.
